In the Belly of a Tiger — CLAIRE COWAN COMPOSER

At the beginning of this year, I was brought on to work on the film In the Belly of a Tiger, directed by Siddartha Jatla.

I had the pleasure of providing additional music in addition to the hauntingly enigmatic score written by fellow famous OTICONS composer Shigeru Umebayashi, who is most famously acclaimed for his music from the film, In the Mood for Love.

The film itself is a fictionalised tale of reportedly true events in rural India about a rampant tiger, and is described as having blended themes of “surreal horror and selfless love”.

In the Belly of a Tiger premiered at the Berlin Film Festival to critical claim in February this year. Listen to my contribution to it’s soundtrack below.
